2014 was such a success exhibiting at Sensor + Test for SST, we decided to do it all over again this year.  Our Sales and Technical team arrived back from Nuremberg at the end of last week with a bunch of new and exciting leads from potential customers across a variety of industries and markets. We learned about new applications where our sensors are being used, applications that we didn’t even know existed but that gave us fantastic insight into some of the unusual markets where there is a demand for our sensors.

Our stand had a number of quirky product demonstrations to attract walkers by to come in and speak to us. From various liquid level lego displays illustrating the capabilities of our liquid and leak detection sensors, to various gas sensor wall displays in which you could interact with.

Our Managing Director, Keith Wight explained, “The show was another great success for SST. As an exhibitor you meet exactly those potential customers who need your expertise in implementing our sensors into their systems, or who are already using our sensors with success. Y ou get to find out more about how the sensors benefit their application. The great thing about the show was practically all of your discussions with these prospects were about live projects they are currently working on, which in turn gives you confidence that these opportunities will hopefully turn into real customers one day.”

“Our Liquid Level and LuminOx Optical Oxygen Sensorsreceived a great amount of interest. It’s a great way for us to find out more about potential applications and markets in which our sensors could be used in. As we are moving up the value chain into the instrumentation market, it is also a good opportunity for us to find new gas sensor technology companies which we could use in our multi gas analysers, launching towards the end of this year.”

Congratulations also to our competition winner Ibrahim Bostanci who won the XPRO Drone that we had displayed at the show. Hope you enjoy it! For those of you who entered but never won…there is always next year!
