SST Soar In A Time Of Desperation For The Rest of The World
30.06.2010
Many industries, including manufacturing in the UK and the rest of the world have suffered greatly from what we all know as the "Credit Crunch", the devastating financial crisis of 2007-2010. The ongoing economic crisis caused many companies to close down, which resulted in many people without work and unable to maintain their monthly outgoings, meaning that many people had to give up their homes. It was and still is a vicious cycle.
However, smaller companies like SST Sensing Ltd were able to stay afloat with great success as we worked closely together to establish ways to get through this time of desperation. A strong focus was put on marketing activities such as online marketing, customer relationship building and product promotions to encourage lead generation. We were able to gain many new customers this way and respond to their needs fast due to the commitment from our technical, production and logistical teams at SST.
Even although the world is still suffering from the economic crisis, for SST Sensing, these first 6 months of the year have set us off to a great start. We are working on a number of large opportunities and as a result had to employ a number of staff in order to manage the demand from our customers. SST Sensing Ltd is now a company of 35 people and are in the process of looking for bigger and better premises to combat our space constraints. This is great news for SST, as we have managed to grow and develop in a time of catastrophic financial difficulty. We intend to progress onwards and upwards whilst maintaining our excellent quality of sensor solutions and our high levels of customer service at the heart of our business.
