SST Sensors Used In Military Generators

SST were approached to supply all of the sensing and control requirements for a range of battlefield generators. Our customer had a requirements to capture a range of data from the generator which required a range of sensing and control requirements. Each unit requires the following:

Temperature Sensor

Temperature Switch 

Pressure Sensor

Pressure Switch 

Fluid Level Sensor

The housings and electronics for these products were unique and SST began by determining what the customer was looking to control. We identified the critical areas for measurement and looked at the physical requirements and from this information designed the housings and electrical configuration to meet with the customers existing systems. 

The system has six seperate sensors which are fed into a central electronic conditioning box and output to several connectors. The customer now can place one order and receive all of their sensing products with the correct housings, cable lengths, connectors and electrical configuration.
