SST Sensing offers a wide range of probe style temperature sensors in standard formats with an additional rapid customisation service for products not in our standard range.
Available sensors types are resistive devices which use NTC (negative temperature coefficient) thermistors or RTD elements depending on requirements. Thermistors are more sensitive but have nonlinear output characteristics. RTD elements offer linear characteristics at a slightly higher cost. SST can also convert these resistive outputs to either a 4-20mA current output or voltage signals
Two pole insulated terminals and 1 pole common ground options are available as are a wide range of mounting threads and terminations - both pig tail and integral connectors.
Temperature ranges from -40ºC to 150ºC are standard.
